We hope you’ll invite folks in your network to support the conservation and improvement work of the wonderful Feeder Canal.
Your donations help support big and small projects along the canal and trail. One of those projects includes the preservation of the historic coal silos at 72 Maple Street in Hudson Falls. With funds from the New York State Canal Corporation, NYS Senator Betty Little’s office, NYS Office of Parks & Recreation, Sandy Hills Foundation, Leo Coxx Beach Philanthropic Foundation and many in-kind contributions from the surrounding community the Feeder Canal Alliance was able to save this historic landmark for generations to come.

Are you out on the trail? Do you care about environment and your community? Become a Trail Steward! Individuals, families, groups or organizations can adopt a section of the trail by visiting your section of the trail at least once a week from May to October. We ask that you pick up any litter or branches or twigs on the trail, report any damage or graffiti and act as a friendly ambassador on the trail.

Volunteering in a win win situation! You can improve your mood and health by providing your own special skill set, gain professional experience you may lack, find news ways to grow and strengthen yourself and make a difference. The Feeder Canal Alliance is able to create and implement more programs, engage with more people in the community, conserve resources, and bring people of different backgrounds and skill sets (but all with a love of the Feeder Canal) together. All of this because you volunteered!
